Biography
Singer, multi-instrumentalist and music producer from Arequipa. Musician since he was 13 years old. Soloist since 2010 with several singles released, two albums and various music videos broadcast on the internet and TV.
With musical influences from: R&B, soul, blues, funk and rock . He ventures into POP music, making a fusion and adaptation of folkloric genres from Peru to contemporary styles. One of his most important albums emerges from this work: " Homage to Arequipa ", not just an album, but a musical project of revaluation of history, regional tradition. Bringing a new sound to the arequipeño song of yesteryear.
The year 2020 obtained recognition by the Regional Government of Arequipa , together with great exponents of music from the south of the country such as: Percy Murguía Huillca, Leslie Davalos, «Los Hermanos Aspilcueta», «Los Pukas», «Los Ccalis de Yura», etc. Decorated in 2021 as ambassador or REPRESENTATIVE OF THE AREQUIPA BRAND .
In his solo career he has stepped on various important stages in the city and the country together with talented musicians, who have joined his band in various seasons.
Project «Homage to Arequipa»
« Tribute to Arequipa » is a musical project that seeks to recover and promote the compositions of the Arequipa songbook of yesteryear, in more contemporary genres; in order to bring the new generations closer to its history and tradition, promoting the culture of Arequipa in Peru and the world.
The album was released in August 2017 through the Zagaz Music label, on all digital platforms: Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, etc. The songs and video clips of this album are being broadcast locally, nationally and internationally through the internet, radio and TV.
The project also includes live performances, along with a rock band at Arequipa's anniversary parties, as well as at social, cultural or tourism events in Arequipa and Peru.
